The hurdle
An independent ISP competing against national carriers in San Benito, South Santa Clara, Monterey and Santa Cruz counties. Independent since 1994, with fiber up to 8 Gig and fixed wireless where fiber does not reach. But “local” reads as “smaller” unless the site proves otherwise. It also had to carry real utility: availability lookups, bill pay, webmail, and regulatory customer notices.
The outcome
A site that leads with performance instead of apologizing for being local, then makes the case directly with a side-by-side comparison against a typical national ISP. Residential and business visitors split at the top level, existing customers reach billing and webmail in one click, and the four brand values carry the local-neighbor argument that a national carrier cannot make.
