What is an AI office assistant?
It is Claude, the AI made by Anthropic, set up on your own computer with a folder of your clients, prices, jobs and promises. Each morning it checks your email against that folder, tells you what needs you and drafts the replies. Telos Creative in Windsor builds them for owners in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Longmont and across Northern Colorado.
It is different from an AI receptionist, which answers your phone and website. This one works for you, in your office, and never talks to a customer.

Questions about the AI office assistant
What does it cost to run each month?
It runs on your own Claude account, which you pay Anthropic for directly (Anthropic's current prices). We recommend Claude Max at $100 a month, so it has room on a busy day. You can start on Claude Pro at $20 a month and move up the day you hit its limit.
Can it send emails for me?
No. It writes drafts, and you read them and press send. The Gmail connection Claude uses can make drafts but cannot send at all.
Does it run on its own every morning?
It can. Scheduled tasks come with every paid Claude plan. A task that reads the files on your computer only runs while the computer is on, so either leave the office computer on or just type "good morning" when you sit down.
Is my information used to train AI?
Not with the setting off, and we switch it off when we set it up. Claude has a setting called "Help improve Claude" that lets Anthropic use your chats for training. You can check it yourself any time in Claude's privacy settings.
Do I need a new computer?
No. It runs in the Claude desktop app on a Windows PC or a Mac you already have.
Does it work with Outlook, QuickBooks or my job software?
Claude connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, Square, Stripe and more through Anthropic's Small Business plugin, which we install. Your first job is built around your email, your calendar and your files. If you want it reading your accounting or job software too, tell Arnold what you use and he will say what is possible.
Can I set this up myself?
Yes. Anthropic's free Small Business plugin takes about half an hour to switch on yourself. What we add is the part that takes the time: your clients, prices, jobs and promises built into its files, jobs written for how your business runs, the setup on your computer, training, and someone local to call when something changes.
Can my office manager use it too?
Yes, each on their own Claude login: the Team plan, $25 a person a month, paid to Anthropic. Each extra person is set up separately, and Arnold will price that on the call.
Is Telos Creative part of Anthropic?
No. Claude is made by Anthropic. Telos Creative sets it up and looks after it for local businesses, and you hold your own Claude account.
