Frosted Photography
Freezing moments into frames

The hurdle
Katy Frost photographs weddings, elopements and couples across Northern Colorado, in a category where every competitor is showing beautiful images of the same thing. Booking a wedding photographer is a high-trust, high-cost decision made largely on personality, so the site had to carry her voice as much as her portfolio. It also had to qualify inquiries properly (date, budget, session type and location) without the form feeling like an application.
The outcome
The work leads, with a full-bleed slider and three session types split by what the day means rather than by package. Katy introduces herself in first person alongside a portrait, so the personality question is answered early, and the Journal gives couples the story behind the shots. A five-step “What to Expect” removes the mystery from booking, and the contact form gathers everything needed to quote without reading like a questionnaire.
